Antony’s bungalow is a bold dialogue between the existing residential architecture and modern design. The intervention consists of a rear extension clad in vertical black timber, creating a clear transition from the traditional brick context of the neighbourhood. Central to the design is the three-panel glazing, which frames backyard views and maximizes passive daylighting.
The interior renovation strips back unnecessary partitions of the original bungalow, establishing a linear visual axis from the front entry through to the rear garden.
