01. Discovery Call I start every potential project with a brief, 15-minute conversation. This call allows me to introduce myself and my process, while learning about your goals for the space. 02. On-Site Design Consultation (Fee: $300). During this meeting, I assess the site conditions and any existing structure. We discuss your goals, budget, and timelines while identifying potential constraints early. Following this meeting, I provide a detailed proposal tailored to your specific needs.

03. Schematic Design. I begin by analyzing the site and assessing the forms and functions required for the client’s specific needs. From room counts to sunlight orientation, I develop preliminary drawings that bring the design concept to life. By the end of this phase, we have a defined scope, a preliminary budget, and a clear roadmap for approvals.

04. Design Development. I refine the design by defining the materials, finishes, and overall expression of the home. I collaborate with consultants to coordinate the structure and building systems. This phase transforms the initial concept into a tangible definition of the final build.

05. Construction Documents. I consolidate the design into a comprehensive set of construction drawings, including plans, sections, and details. This phase translates the vision into the technical instructions required to build the project. By the end, we have all necessary documentation prepared to secure building permits and regulatory approvals.

06. Construction Administration. I work alongside you and the contractor to ensure the project is built in accordance with the drawings. I help resolve on-site challenges as they arise, ensuring the design intent is preserved right down to the final details.
